Every site here needs more certification than that. The fix is one course long, and most people do it in three days.

The season runs roughly October to May. Outside that the south-west monsoon shuts down the offshore sites and often the ferries with them.
The offshore sites — Jackson's Bar, Johnny's Gorge, Dixon's Pinnacle — are current-dependent and get called off on the boat more often than anyone would like. We do not run them in marginal conditions, and we will not take you to 40 m to salvage a booking.
The inshore reef dives run in almost anything. If the deep sites are off, you will still dive — it will just be Lighthouse or Minerva Ledge instead, and those are good dives in their own right.
